The last few weeks

Jack thinks this flashlight is a camera. He'll walk up to you and say "cheese" and then look at the light after he takes your picture and says "cute"

Our Day in Chico

We can now safely say that wedding season is officially over for the Muir Family. We were invited to so many weddings this year that we lost count. This final shin-dig was in Chico and we headed down Saturday early afternoon to meet Auntie Jessica (aka Auntie Dessie), Uncle Randy (aka Unco Ondy) and Cousin Zane for lunch and to deliver our quads that they purchased from us. Yeap-we got rid of them and I couldn't be happier. This means that my poor deprived Audi might actually make its way into the garage after a few years of parking in the driveway. Not to mention that quad riding isn't all that conducive with a two-year old.

The wedding we attended was beautiful, simple and a lot of fun. The ceremony was outside at Bidwell Park which made it extremely kid-friendly for the Muir family. Jackson also decided that this day was a "No Nap Day". This was a little nerve-racking for Pete and I but he actually did really well.

We enjoyed good wine, food and music but made an early departure back to our hotel. As we walked through downtown Chico back to our car, Pete and I started laughing. We were both thinking of all the times we spent in Chico while in high-school and college and that going back to a hotel at 8.45pm was definitely the earliest ending night. We also noticed that every person we passed on the streets either smelt of cigarettes, alcohol, weed or all of the above....oh Chico, so nice to visit, but even nicer to leave!!

Party Animals

When we arrived into Sac today Jackson starting chanting "kuna-tuna". We aren't sure if this is some Hawaiian chant or a derogatory comment directed at us but that we weren't aware of. Either way, it's hilarious.

Pumpkins Galore

October means pumpkins, and man did we see our share. Jackson touched, dropped, threw and sat on every size this pumpkin farm had to offer. He als0 ran through the corn maze, rode on a train and sat on straw bales while enjoying his freshly made kettle-corn. Man, life is good for a two-year old!

Jackson turns 2!

The terrible-two's have arrived!!

Jackson Wayne Muir is 2--and we can't believe it! This boy is active, talking like crazy and bossing us around every chance he gets!

We had a great weekend with family and celebrated "Jazza Bee's" birthday. Each time we sang "Happy Birthday" to him, he would say "Happy Day Jazza Bee"!!!

Good Friends = Good Times

We spent the weekend in Santa Barbara with an awesome group of friends--The Rich's and Barry's. Not only was it great for the moms and dads, but our kids got to hang out with each other and represent the next generation of Pete, Chris and Mark...Watch out world!!!
